I love the way that life is made up of moments. Balanced ones where some really suck and then others just make you want to hug life so tight you squeeze what life is left out of it. One of those squeezy moments came in the form of a lady I have yet to meet but one who touched my heart through a small but monstrous gesture of taking time out of her day to day by labouring with her hands to make something for me. For me. Not just anything though, something that is dear to my heart and something that I have become known as in my Photography circle. The Dandelion Queen. It's these squeezy moments that make life all the more worthwhile. Thank you Leigh Ann Van Aswegen...you have a wondrous heart. Naturally it gave me a great amount of pleasure creating these images.
How I see it...
I see, speak and write in metaphors because I feel there is much we can learn from nature, people and our surroundings as depicted in my photographs and why I enjoy sharing my thoughts. Not in any attempt to convince or convert you to my way of thinking, seeing or feeling but to share how I see and experience MY mind map of the world. You at no time have to agree, all I ask is that my views and the views of others who wish to express theirs are kindly respected. So relax, get comfy and just enjoy. Happy reading!
