Just feel the magic in the air and the power in the breeze
Feel the energy of the plants, the bushes and the trees
Let yourself be surrounded by nature at its best
Calm yourself, focus, then let magic do the rest

The difference between friendship and love is how much you can hurt each other

I’m writing to you regarding your photo: Ghosts of the Past (https://500px.com/photo/148914005/)
We would love to feature your photo in an upcoming issue of Photography Masterclass Magazine (a magazine designed specifically for tablets and mobiles), as part of a feature we’re having on photographing smoke. We would retain full credit to you as the photographer and include a link back to your website and portfolio.
Because of the interactive nature of the magazine it's possible for the magazine to open a web browser for the reader, so if they like your photo and want to view more of your work they can go straight to your website/portfolio from within the magazine.
You can find out a bit more about the magazine at the link below:
We really love this photo and think it will be perfect for our feature, so I hope you'll be happy for us to include it.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Photography Masterclass Magazine
There is a place, like no place on earth. A land full of wonder, mystery and danger!
Some say to survive it you need to be as mad as a hatter.
Which, luckily, I am.

One of the oldest and most generous tricks that the Universe plays on human beings is to bury strange jewels within us all, and then stands back to see if we can ever find them
- Elizabeth Gilbert -
Isn't it funny? How we hold on so desperately to habit? How we get comfortable in a place that seems cozy and warm and yummy but it no longer serves us? Or where we are trying to go? It does not help our soul's growth to stay stuck in the habitual routine of what we become accustomed to as pleasant, safe and predictable. Predictable is always safe because we know what's going to happen next and if you're anything like me, surprises make me nervous. Yet in order to grow, whether spiritually, mentally, humanly, photographically we have to push past that cushy bubble and we have to pop it so that we are anxious and awkward and messy in all our fears and apprehensions about which way forward. And this is good for us.
Long story short...I have always had Photoshop on my PC...fiddled around with it from time to time but became increasingly impatient and intolerant with it because I could not figure it out so I left it and only used a basic programme to tweak my images here and there. Until...until a friend sent me a few actions and my whole world looked a little more colorful and I began to fiddle around more. And so my journey has begun...and it has only JUST begun. I still know nothing but I'm a little wiser than before. I've popped that cushy bubble and have now pushed myself into discovering what more is out there and what more I can do with my photographs. There is more magic at my fingertips and I'm so excited to see where this chapter of my story will lead.
There is freedom waiting for you, on the breezes of the sky.
And you ask, "What if I fall?"
Oh, but my darling...what if you fly?

How I see it...
I see, speak and write in metaphors because I feel there is much we can learn from nature, people and our surroundings as depicted in my photographs and why I enjoy sharing my thoughts. Not in any attempt to convince or convert you to my way of thinking, seeing or feeling but to share how I see and experience MY mind map of the world. You at no time have to agree, all I ask is that my views and the views of others who wish to express theirs are kindly respected. So relax, get comfy and just enjoy. Happy reading!
