Africa is in the hearts of all her children who heed her dusty cry for a life of remembering. She is in the feet of her offspring who dance to her pulsating wild rhythm of the untamed spirits of existence. Africa is in the minds of her sons and daughters who speak with fire in their souls, of stories, places and people who have left their footprint in the pathways of earthy dirt. Africa breathes through her fauna and flora, a breath so sweet and intoxicating it leaves you thirsting for more. Africa walks boldly and bravely through the hearts of those who have come to see her, to admire her, to feel her warmth like a soft hand that gently brushes across your cheek. Africa sings through her open plains and valleys, a song of majesty that only her children can interpret. Her song encourages love and peace between brother and sister.
Africa is not a place, it's a feeling. Africa is Home. This is my Africa. This is my Home.
Where I belong.

How I see it...
I see, speak and write in metaphors because I feel there is much we can learn from nature, people and our surroundings as depicted in my photographs and why I enjoy sharing my thoughts. Not in any attempt to convince or convert you to my way of thinking, seeing or feeling but to share how I see and experience MY mind map of the world. You at no time have to agree, all I ask is that my views and the views of others who wish to express theirs are kindly respected. So relax, get comfy and just enjoy. Happy reading!
